Titanic.
OW: Rose is engegaed to Caledon. He is really rich. She seems rich but her and her mom are going through a financial crisis which is why her mother wants her to marry him.
Call: Rose tries to committ suicide. Jack saves her. He is poor, sweet and exciting. He seems to like her.
Refusal: Rose is very comittet to marry Cal because of her mother. She needs to be seen as upper class and Cal and her mother try to force her not to see Jack.
Mentor: I guess Jack could be seen as her mentor even though he also kind of is her Call to Adventure, because he is it who calms her down when she doubts the two of them and who kind of leads her to experiencing true love.
Treshold: When Rose leaves a boring first class dinner just to be with Jack in the third class is probably when she enters her heroe life.
Tests, allies, enemies: Her mother, her fioncé and the deck officer are all kind of against the relationship between rose and jack. Several times Cal tries to forbit her to see Jack, so does her mother. Also when she wants to leave with Jack while the ship is sinking they try to get her to go on the lifeboat. Or when Jack is imprisoned and the ship sinks so he is about to die but Rose frees him with an axe.
Approach: Now that they are save they try and look for being safe and not dieing.
Ordeal: They both fall into the ocean and think they are going to die but they keep on swimming.
Reward: They find a door that might safe them. Jack promises her she will live and be happy.
Resurrection: Rose is almost dieing after Jack is dead but then remembers his words and is saved.
Return with Elixir: Rose is save on a lifeboat and lives for a long time after that. She keeps the expensive necklace Cal gave her and ends up throwing it in t ocean once she's old.

Ordinary World
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
Pink Floyd - Time
Everyday is pretty much the same. She wakes up every morning at the same time, eats brakfast and go to school. She tries to kill the hours and then she walks home, takes a nap, does homework or hangs out with friends. Every day, 5 days a week. On the weekends she hangs out with friends and lives a little more. She feels like all this is worthless because sometimes she wakes up and thinks to herself : " Man, one month has passed. I am one freaking month older and in 3 weeks I will have forgotten yesterday." One day she got a call from some dude she had never heard about but he read her poems and all the stuff she had written and actually encouraged her to write more. She came to a point where she could even publish some of her stuff and then she could finally do, what she really wanted to do and didn't have to think about how she could please her parents by getting into the very best colleges and ending up with some lame office job.
Will her parents still accept her ?
Will her stuff be bought and liked ?
Will she end up on the same old road again and die without having lived?

Shake the dust.
Live today so tomorrow yesterday will be worth it.
This is for all the girls who tell themselves it's never gonna happen again.
This is for all the boys who truely love her but talk about her hot body in front of their mates just because they don't want to be called "gay" or "weak". Make a change. Start living.
This is for all of you who are trying to be perfect, to keep up with their expectations. For those who would love to say 'NO!' and run far, far away. Start living.
This is for the girls that are abused by their boyfriends sexually, physically or mentally. For those who are trying so hard to leave but feel like they can't. Say your right again. Start living.
This is for the ones who want to close their eyes and dance all night long. For the ones who want to remember. For the ones who want to forget. Start living.
This is for the disrespected and discriminated. For those who have heard the words 'I hate you' too many times. For those whos daddy never saw they tried so hard. Start living.
I am writing for those who haven't seen the sun all summer long, for those who are used to the cold even so much they can't remember what love means. For those who feel lonely at night and just wish there was someone to protect them. This is for the ones who keep forgetting who they are. For those who never got the chance to be themselves. Start living.
This is for you. For the ones who cover up their pain with make-up. The ones who don't eat the cake just so someday he might recognize you. Start living.
This is for those who put the pen down years ago -full of ink.
For those who never tried.
Start living.
Stand up for your rights. Stand up for what you believe in. Breathe in.
Wake up and start a wonderful new day.
Look in the mirror and say: "Hell yes, THAT is me and I am proud of it."
Don't just dream, don't say "what if" or "what could have been" but start running and reach your dream. Wake up and start living. Be free.
Peace.

Gandhi, I've never read your book. I hope one day I will.
"A,B,C,D,E,F & G oh, that reminds me of when we were free - before life began to tear us apart."
-The Kooks
I keep forgetting to live.
Responsibilities. Everyday I do my work. Everyday I live - for the system.
Get a 4,0 so you can go to the best Colleges. Go to the best Colleges so you can get the best job.
Do the best job so you can retire someday and have totally missed out on living.
Then maybe get sick so you can't even live the last years. The system I am living for.
Time. 6 AM wake up. Go to school. Do homework. Hurry. Eat dinner. Study. Go to sleep and start over the next day. I can't break out.
I live for this system, how I was taught to. I am the masterexample of how you can work your butt off for something you don't even believe in. I want to break out.
When will we own ourselves completely ?
I want to live for my dreams and not for what they expect me to. I really do. And not because I am lazy but because I know that like this with 73 I will look back and see nothing than a little hamster in a hamster wheel. Running without knowing there's a world out there.
There are flowers.
There is sunshine.
I hope I will wake up one day and be able to follow myself and not their footsteps.
I hope I can stop running in this wheel.
I hope one day I will smell the flowers and see the sunshine.
I hope then I can say: "And tonight is not the last time I'll see the light."
And I can stop forgetting and freaking start living.

BLUUURBS.
Stan (Eminem):
Stan is an obsessed fan of Eminem's who keeps on writing letters to him but never gehts one back. He is talking about all the crap that's goin on in his life and feels like in Eminem he found someone who understands him. Stan is on the edge of committing suicide, maybe Eminem's late letter can still save him.
Love Story (Taylor Swift):
They love each other. A lot. All they want is to be together. They sneak out at night, break rules because they need each other. She feels alone and waits for him but her Dad is against their relationship. His decision desides what happens to their Love Story.

Hotel California ( The Eagles):
Have you ever been in a situation where you just made a decision that changed everything? Something that jst seemed so little but it was so .. much more. Have you ever been tired and checked into a Hotel? He did. He had a great time. But now he wants to leave. He wants to go back to the place he was before. A little decision can change so much.

Eminem (Cleanin' out my Closet):
His mom didn't really care about him when he was a little boy. She was addicted to drugs. She wasn't a good mom. His dad left when he was still a baby. He had no one. A story about a boy who could have given up, but who made it through it all to the point where he can even reflect about his past and see how far he made it.

Song to say goodbye (Placebo):
He used to be a happy person who enjoyed life and made others happy too. Drug abuse made him to what he is now, someone who hurts others. People are trying to save him, trying to help him but he doesn't care. He probably never will.

EMOTIONS RUN DEEP AS OCEAN'S EXPLODING
I'd like to welcome y'all to the Eminem show...
Title: Cleanin' out my closet
Artist: Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers III)
Link to the Lyrics ( this song has swearing just so you know)
Plot: Eminem's father left when he was a little baby. His mother took prescription pills while he was around and she made him believe he was sick even though he was not. His mom didn't treat him well. Trough a really difficult childhood he made it to selling multi-platinum CD's. He made it out of that crap.
Character:
Eminem ( speaker)
his mom
his father
Halie (his daughter)
Kim ( mother of his daughter)
Nathan
Conflict: Eminem is pissed at his mother because of how she treated him and what she made him go through and let's his feelings out. He wants her to know what she did to him and how it destroyed him as a little kid. He also hates his father and Kim even so much that he speaks about being on the edge of killing them.
Theme: Drug abuse, difficult childhood, hate / pain
Setting:
the closet
the kitchen
'73
'now'
My word: I freakin' love Eminem. Especially the stuff he did in the beginning. I mean every artist grows and changes, but I prefer the stuff he did back then. This song ist just so powerful and describes so much so deeply and honestly.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget...
Title: Hotel California
Artist: The Eagles
Link to the Lyrics
Plot: The speaker is getting tired while he's driving in his car. Then he stops driving and checks in in a nice hotel where he spends his time with champaign , a nice woman and stuff like that.
Character:
The speaker
"she"
the captain
the night man
Conflict: He wants to leave the Hotel California. First it is a temptation. He enjoys himself but soon he realises that he needs to leave that place but the night man says : ' You can checkout any time you like but you can never leave' and "she" said : 'We are all just prisoners here of our own device.'
Theme: consequences, getting into something where there's no way out
Setting:
a dark desert highway
the doorway
the Hotel California
the corridor
the courtyard
the master's chambers
('69)
(the middle of) the night
My word about the story of this song: I am pretty convinced this song is about heroin. He describes how he is tired on that dark desert highway.. some sorta hopeless. And then there is that tempting Hotel and he just needs to stop. Like someone without any hope and ambition woul stop for something.. new and different. And then he has a great time at this weird and new place. He is a new spirit at that place.. in the scene. And eventually without even realising it he gets caught at that place. He made himself a prisoner that can never leave that place again, even though he is welcome to leave. Isn't that what Heroin does to people ?
I still love that song. It makes me think.

Lost Count: A Love Story by Nate Marshall and Demetrius Amparan
Link to the Youtube video [ it is really worth watching] : Lost Count - A love Story
Link to the lyrics : Lyrics to the poem
I thought a lot about jealousy. I thought a lot about poetry. I like abstract poetry. I like poetry.
I read different poems. I read tons of them. And today I heard a poem. I heard a poem that made me cry. I can't quite understand it because I don't know what it feels like.
"And I don't know how to do more than be afraid,
that my age allowing me to be on this stage
might have me murdered by Monday.
I'm 18!
I play pickup basketball games with ghosts."
I am to well protected to really know, to even have the right to say I know and still every single word burned my skin. Every single word broke my heart.
I probably listened to this poem a thousand times. I read tons of poems. And today I heard a poem.
One that changed my life. And I think that is what every poem should do. It should be a fire that you desire. One that will burn your skin.
"Will they ever call your death beautiful?
Your life, a sacrifice
A love story to be jealous of?
How many deaths will it take
Before this... is considered genocide?"

DON'T COMPLAIN AND KEEP ON SMILING!
I'm tired of people thinking about everything all the time. I'm tired of acting happy when I'm not just so they don't ask what's up. I'm tired of people doing everything for money. I'm tired of money. I'm tired of people telling me how to LIVE MY LIFE! I'm tired of cheap nailpolish and lipstick that doesn't last. I'm tired of make-up, of hiding myself. I'm tired of trying to be perfect. I'm tired of winter, of the cold. I'm tired of trying too hard to get HIS attention. I am so tired of him. I'm so tired of people who just don't understand. I'm tired of people making me a project. I'm tired of being reduced. I'm tired of being popular- tired of feeling lonely. I'm tired of running in circles. I'm tired of this reputation. I'm tired of being used. I'm tired of spending my time how others expect me to! I'm tired of that damn song that once used to be my favorite song. I'm tired of fake people. I'm tired of backstabbing friends who wouldn't even care if you weren't there. I'm tired of not being myself just because you tell me to.

What is love?
Love is touching fire without burning yourself. Love is being addicted to the attention. Love is a habit. It is being willing to give your life for your sister. Love is a battlefield. Love is being safe in a burning room. Love is sunshine at night. Love is a beautiful flower in the dark. Love is being there eventhough you're not. Love is accepting. Love is moving on. Love is having hope. Love is hearing your grandpa say he can't fight anymore and still staying strong. Love is smiling even though you want to cry. It is letting out what you have hidden for so long. Love is saying 'Yes'.
But most of all love is undefinable.
What is love? Does love even exist? Where does one feeling end and another feeling start? Why can we say we hate "him" after all he did? Isn't it because we love him. Doesn't it hurt just because we don't hate him at all? Where does the first excitement end and the habit of not being able to live without someone else start? Is that love or is it being addicted to some sort of feeling someone else gives us? Is it really love to fight for someone even though they just can't do it anymore? Is it love to force someone to be with us or isn't it rather love to accept their decision? Is it love when your heart drops when you see him or is that just nervosity? Do we really want the love or do we just love the attention? Why can we get over someone? Is it love when we are able to get over that one person?
And why is it that most love songs are rather sad and depressing than happy ? Isn't love somehow that feeling that makes your eyes sparkle, your heart beating faster so that you feel that warm feeling all over your body and just wanna scream because you are full of joy? How is it possible that there are so many sad love songs ? Shouldn't people who feel this overwhelming feeling be happy, no matter what?
Yes, I think love is the hidden sunshine deep inside you and if you look for it you can find it EVERYWHERE!

lose yourself
I don't even know what I'm tryin to say. I don't even know if anyone cares and if I even have to say anything. I'm boring myself. I just had this feeling to write and here I am writing. Maybe it won't change a thing, maybe it won't change your mind or your heart. Maybe you're not even reading this. But how can I ever know if I never gave it a damn shot? If I never took this opportunity? If I never captured this moment? And how could I do this any better than just through writing? You know what ? I think life's called life because it is about living. It is about taking risks, about enjoying every moment. It is about giving every dream, every hope, every thought a shot. And who knows maybe one day one of "us", whoever "we" are right now since I don't know who's reading this, will make a difference. How can we ever find out if we never gave it a shot ? If we never did what we really felt like doing? I don't even know what I am trying to say. I think we all should just stop thinking about things. We should just freaking start living. YOU want to be a designer ? Then be one! Stop being like "I ain't gonna make it dude." Guess what ? If all those designers would have thought that you would probably be pretty naked right now. We should just live our dreams, no matter how realistic they are. If you wanna be a princess find a freakin prince and marry him. I think we should stop giving up and start trying harder until we reach what we aim for!
Maybe you don't care. Maybe no one ever will. I just hope you give it a shot, whatever it is you're dreaming about.
Maybe you don't care. Maybe no one ever will. I just hope you give it a shot, whatever it is you're dreaming about.

BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS.
"Broken rules have broken laws have broken hearts have broken all." - Pitbull ft. Akon Mr. Right Now
I walk alone. I walk alone. The old freeway I'm walking on is grey and seems endless. The sky is grey. It's cloudy. I walk alone. I walk alone. It's cold. No one's there. There's not even any sound except for the old melody that followed me all the way. There are paper sheets flying in the wind. They are art-scholar-papers. I walk alone. I walk alone. Empty paper is lying on the street. I just walk by, don't even look. There is no color. I walk alone. I walk alone. I walk past a broken piano, dusty. I walk past a guitar leaning against it. Never played. I walk past the old abandoned art school. I walk alone. I walk alone. I walk past all those notes, all those joyfull melodies, that stopped playing in my head. I walk alone. I walk alone. I walk past her house. Past her grave I haven't visited in so long. Photos of her funeral blown in the air by the calm, warm wind. I wasn't there. I was alone. I walk alone. I walk alone. Walking doesn't hurt. My legs aren't tired. It just seems endless. I walk alone. I walk alone. There are so many words written on the grey cloudy sky surrounding me. Never said them. I walk alone. I walk alone. There's no one. No sign of life. It almost seems like there has never been anyone on it except for me. Broken houses. Broken rules. I walk alone. I walk alone. I walk alone. Conversations - never happened. Broken Hearts never fixed. I walk alone.

I'm thinking about you.
I'm thinking about you.
I'm thinking about you like teenage daughters want to incite. Like their mothers want them to gain insight. Like starving people think about food. Like her finger thinks about a ring. Like he thinks about running away from all those responsibilities. I'm thinking abou you like a perfectionist thinks about getting better, like vegas thinks about a bettor. I'm thinking about you like fries think about potatoes. Like snow thinks about the cold. I'm thinking about you -much. Like all others suck. Like skin thinks about touch and touch thinks about... love. I'm thinking about you ike she always thinks about him, like sometimes you just need a hymn! I'm thinking about you like blind people think about color. Like a flower thinks about the sun who thinks about summer who thinks about winter who misses the exact same freaking sun! Like mothers think about their son. I'm thinking about you like tears think about falling. Like teenagers think about nothing and think nothing is everything without seeing anything other than that one thing. I'm thinking about you like a heart thinks about beating. Like Egypt thinks about freedom. Like cookies think about chocolate chips. I'm thinking about you like water thinks about ditches, like the ugly christmas sweater itches, like players think about... winning the game. I'm thinking about you. Do you even listen? I'm thinking about you like someone who has to pee really badly thinks about a toilet. Like pi thinks about math and math is selfish and thinks it's most important. About you. Like you don't think of me. I'm thinking about you like I should live my life and not waste my time. Like I should stop thinking about you... and be with you.

Direct Orders.
You are under direct orders to rock out.
Rock out like you got this nervous, awesome feeling in your tummy. Rock out like you just bought something way too expensive. Rock out like you danced the whole night.Rock out like they just passed universal suffrage. Rock out like you get two bags of Cheetos out of the vending machine. Rock out like Kurt Cobain is back and is singing just for you. Rock out like you have a freaking 4,0. Rock out like you are on a Rock concert. Rock out like you're having barbecued streak for dinner. Rock out like they just told you they love you. Rock out like the war just ended and everyone's optimist till the next war starts. Rock out like you just woke up and had an awesome dream. Rock out like it's your last day of life. Rock out like he told you he loves you. Rock out like you were born in the 60's. Rock out like you are free to say whatever you want. Rock out like it's raining outside and you can run through the warm summer rain. Rock out like you have a heart. Rock out like you just found a new favorite song. Rock out like you wrote an awesome poem. Rock out like they published your book. Rock out like you don't need to worry about tomorrow. Rock out like you're an abused woman finally able to fight back. Rock out like you can live in a world where people accept you, no matter how you look like, who you love or what you believe. Rock out like you're self confident. Rock out like the hot kid just texted you. Rock out like you have friends who are just like you. Rock out like you're having a chilled day at home. Rock out like you're partying all night. Rock out like your government is based on democracy. Rock out like he broke your heart and you realized how stupid he actually was. Rock out like you're gonna die soon. Rock out like you don't care. Rock out like there's nothing else to do. Rock out like you're over it.
Rock out like you can be yourself.

Introduction
Hey,
The Velvet Underground is a rock band, which was formed in NYC. In my openion they were one of the most influental groups of the 60's.
Velvet Underground, that's my pen name. I don't know what moves me about this band, those people and this whole time period. I just think art in every kind of way lived more back then. I think people didn't really care about responsibilities as much as they do today. People lived their dreams.
My dream is to just write, when I feel like writing, to paint, when I feel like painting and to just let my emotions out without having to care about tomorrow or yesterday. I think that's what it's all about. It is about feeling. For me art is about expressing myself.
I think, I pretty much suck at writing, but that's okay. It still feels good to just write, to put emotion in something and to share it. Art is a feeling. For me art, whatever one might consider as such, is very, very important, because it kind of balances all the responsibilities and everything that sometimes gets a little too much in life. And I personally think writing is one of the strongest ways of telling the world your openion, of criticizing, of making a difference and of expressing emotions. I might not be able to do that, but there are people out there who know they could make that difference with the power of their words. They just need to start living their dreams.
